Strong and resiliant to scratches Chevre is a lightweight leather, frequently used for Mini Kellies. Chevre features a "spine" in the pattern of the grain which varies slightly depending on the type. Mysore is most commonly used and has a slightly smaller grain than the discontinued de Coromandel - the "spine in Mysore is quite prominent.
