The Hermès Kelly Danse, reintroduced in 2019, is a versatile bag that elevates any ensemble. Originally launched in 2007, this bag was designed as a casual alternative to the Kelly Pochette. The Kelly Danse is crafted from robust Evercolor leather, though some exotic options are available. Its design allows it to be worn in multiple ways: as a shoulder bag, clutch, crossbody, backpack, or belt bag. The Rose Sakura colour, inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms, is a delicate pastel pink that shines in Swift leather. It features palladium hardware and measures 22cm x 17cm x 7cm. Hermès Material
Featuring a finer, more uniform grain than Evergrain, Evercolor is also a little more robust and holds its shape well. It absorbs and retains colour well and has a semi matte finish.
Known as Gulliver until it was discontinued in 1999, this leather was reintroduced in 2005 as Swift. It has a fine grain which is soft to the touch and the ability to absorb dyes and reflect the light make it very popular. The drawback to Swift is that it is easily scratched so needs careful handling.
Hermès Colour
Inspired by the Japanese cherry blossom, Rose Sakura is a delicate pastel pink most commonly seen in Swift leather, which beautifully enhances the vibrancy of the colour.
Hardware
Hermès Palladium hardware is made of solid brass, giving weight and durability, and then plated in precious metal. Palladium belongs to the platinum group of metals and has a brighter and whiter look than silver. More precious than gold, palladium is hard wearing and scratch-resistant.
