The Hermès Kelly measures 42cm in length, 18cm in height, and 21cm in width, designed for shoulder carry with elongated handles.
Clemence leather, made from male bull calf, features a larger grain and heavier texture, resulting in a slouchier appearance compared to Togo.

Hermès Construction
Originally designed by John Paul Gaultier in 2004 the Shoulder Birkin or Kelly is a large (42cm), more elongated and slouchy version of the original with taller handles which allowed it to be carried on the shoulder. The Shoulder Birkin was re-issued in 2025 in 29cm and 39cm sizes, the bag retains the same shape and proportions.

Made from the male bull calf, Clemence has been in production longer than Togo, and at first glance appears almost identical. The grain is larger, and the leather heavier which means that bags made with Clemence tend to slouch more.
