Hermès Kelly 32cm in Violet/Bleu de Malte/Marron Ghillies Ostrich with Palladium hardware.
The Hermès Kelly 32cm showcases a spacious construction, ideal for daily use. Created by Hermès jeweller Pierre Hardy, the Ghillies style incorporates curved perforated trims, inspired by traditional Scottish ghillie brogues, and was produced in limited editions until around 2015.
Ostrich leather, characterised by its distinctive polka-dot pattern, offers resilience and lightweight properties, improving with age and developing a subtle patina. The colour combination of Violet and Bleu de Malte enhances the unique aesthetic of this piece.
Condition rated as excellent, with a stamp of 'R', and includes the original receipt and all accessories. Dimensions are 32cm x 23cm x 10cm. Colour codes are 96 for Violet and 7L for Bleu de Malte.

Hermès Style & Size
Spacious and ideal for accompanying you to work, the Kelly 32 is similar to the Birkin 35 in terms of size and what it can fit inside. In the soft togo or clemence leathers it is soft and pliable and opens easily but the narrow top makes fitting in a standard size laptop or document impossible.
Hermès Construction
Created by Hermès jeweller Pierre Hardy in 2011, the Ghillies style is based on a traditional style of shoe from Scotland called the “ghillie brogue,” whose perforations allow the leather to dry out after the shoe has been worn outdoors. Hardy added the curved perforated trims to both Birkins and Kellies, either in the same colour as the body of the bag, or in a contrasting colour. The Ghillies detailing was available on limited edition bags only and went out of production in around 2015.
Hermès Material
The quill pattern of the feathers gives Ostrich its instantly recognizable polka-dot-like appearance. One of the most resilient of the Hermès leathers, Ostrich is lightweight, wears well and actually improves with age, developing a subtle patina over time.
Hardware
Hermès Palladium hardware is made of solid brass, giving weight and durability, and then plated in precious metal. Palladium belongs to the platinum group of metals and has a brighter and whiter look than silver. More precious than gold, palladium is hard wearing and scratch-resistant.
