The bag is in good condition for age, with some signs of wear as follows:
No plastics on the hardware or feet which show hairline scratches. The front and back panels and the handles are in pristine condition, the corners have very light signs of wear, but no scratches. Inside there are slight indentations and light scratches, commensurate with the age of the bag.

The Matte finish is achieved by softly sanding and polishing the skin with felt. Imperfections show clearly so each skin has to be as perfect as possible. The central scales are rectangular, gradually tapering to smaller, rounder ones toward the edges, creating a balanced and symmetrical pattern. Alligator is signified by a small square ☐ next to the Hermes name on the bag.
