Hermès Dalvy Black Shiny Croc GHW - Vintage
The Hermès Dalvy is a structured, vintage top-handle handbag from Hermès with a clean, elegant design. It has a boxy silhouette, a single top handle, and a simple flap with metal clasp. The leather lined interior has several slip pockets and plenty of room for essentials, making it a stylish and practical choice for any occasion.
The Dalvy is an extremely rare bag, last sold in 2018 at Christies Hong Kong for £8,850.
While the bag is in excellent condition, it bears minimal signs of gentle use, including very light scratches on the feet and a small white mark on the base. Measures 30cm in width, 23cm in height, and 10cm in depth.

The shiny (Lisse) finish is created by hand-buffing the crocodile skin with agate stone, a process that draws out the leather’s natural oils to produce its signature mirror-like sheen. It achieves a fabulous, almost glassy finish which works extremely well with rich colours. This delicate surface is sensitive to water and prone to fine scratches.
