The Hermès Constance 24cm features a structured silhouette designed for shoulder carry, with a slightly shorter strap compared to the 18cm version, allowing for practical day-to-day use.
Constructed from shiny crocodile leather, the surface is hand-buffed to achieve a mirror-like sheen, enhancing the rich colour of Rose Scheherazade. The delicate finish is sensitive to water and prone to fine scratches.
Condition is brand new with a C stamp, accompanied by a receipt and all accessories included. Dimensions are 24cm x 15cm x 5cm, colour code J5.

Designed in 1959 by Catherine Chaillett and named after her daughter, the Hermes Constance is practical, stylish and versatile. The 24cm has a slightly shorter shoulder strap than the 18cm which makes it more of a bag to carry on the shoulder than crossbody. The larger size allows you to carry more than just the bare essentials meaning it’s more suitable for day to day use.
Hermès Material
The shiny (Lisse) finish is created by hand-buffing the crocodile skin with agate stone, a process that draws out the leather’s natural oils to produce its signature mirror-like sheen. It achieves a fabulous, almost glassy finish which works extremely well with rich colours. This delicate surface is sensitive to water and prone to fine scratches.
Hardware
Hermès Palladium hardware is made of solid brass, giving weight and durability, and then plated in precious metal. Palladium belongs to the platinum group of metals and has a brighter and whiter look than silver. More precious than gold, palladium is hard wearing and scratch-resistant.
