The Hermès Birkin 40cm is the largest size in the Birkin family, ideal for travellers needing ample space. Despite being only slightly larger than the 35cm, it offers generous capacity for all essentials, maintaining chic style on the go. This model features the vibrant Rose Scheherazade, one of Hermès' most striking pinks, in shiny crocodile leather. Complemented by gold hardware, it exudes luxury. The bag, stamped with a 'T' from 2015, is in very good condition, with slight water marks and corner wear. It includes a dust bag, padlock, key, and an authenticity letter from LB.

The shiny (Lisse) finish is created by hand-buffing the crocodile skin with agate stone, a process that draws out the leather’s natural oils to produce its signature mirror-like sheen. It achieves a fabulous, almost glassy finish which works extremely well with rich colours. This delicate surface is sensitive to water and prone to fine scratches.

Hermès Gold hardware is made of solid brass, giving weight and durability, plated in either 18 carat gold, or for some Special Order bags, 24 carat gold and then hand polished. Choose gold hardware for a warm, luxurious finish to your bag.
