Balenciaga Hourglass XS Black Box with Swarovski Crystals

One of Balenciaga’s more recent and distinguished handbag silhouettes, first introduced in around 2019, the Hourglass takes its name from the curvilinear base.  This exceptionally beautiful bag has aftermarket customisation in Graphite Swarovski 2088 Crystal elements which makes it a complete one-off.  With a long front flap is which closes with the magnetic B logo, it has a back pocket and comes with an adjustable shoulder strap.  

The XS is small but not tiny, think of it as a compact day-to-night bag, but because of the structured, curved shape, capacity is a bit less than the measurements suggest.  It’s designed more for essentials-only use, perfect for dinners, events, or light outings where you don’t need to carry much, for example a medium sized Iphone, cardholder/small wallet, keys, and lipstick.
