First seen in 2021 the Birkin Picnic is made by two specialist craftspeople – a master saddler, and an expert basket weaver – and reportedly takes up to 10 hours to create. Also available with Lilac Blue London is a Kelly 35 Picnic, introduced to the runway by Jean Paul Gaultier in 2011.
