Handbag Authentication
We are pleased to offer a trusted handbag authentication service. Lilac Blue London has many years of experience working with Hermès bags, and we’ve trained several leading auction houses in the authentication and identification of Hermès pieces.
Please note, we only carry out authentications in person, we do not authenticate from photographs. Bags must be left with us for 24 hours to allow for a thorough inspection.
Certificate of Authenticity
Following the assessment, you’ll receive a certificate detailing the handbag and our professional opinion confirming its authenticity. If, however, we believe the bag is not authentic, you’ll receive a letter to that effect. Please note: we do not include a breakdown of all the factors contributing to our conclusion.

- Standard: £200
- Exotics: £400
Please be aware that our authentication reflects the insight gained from years of working with Hermès bags. However, it remains an expert opinion, and Lilac Blue London is not affiliated with Hermès.
